About the Role

Scope of Role:
• Reports to: Grants & Research Associate
• Working Hours: Part-time, flexible
• Compensation: Volunteer/Unpaid
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the identification and research of global grants focused on technology, policy, think tanks, and nonprofit sectors.
• Help build and maintain a database of potential funders, including collaboration opportunities with businesses.
• Support the development and implementation of the organization’s fundraising strategy.
• Work closely with the Grants & Research Associate to align fundraising efforts with IWIB4AIE’s strategic goals.

Requirements

Requirements for a Grants and Fundraising Associate:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Interest in nonprofit organizations and grant funding

  • Keen interest in AI ethics, diversity, and inclusion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges


    Desirable:

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in AI, policy, politics, technology, or a related field.

  • Strong research and organizational skills.

  • Track record in fundraising and or grants writing.
